Bao'an International is northwest of central Shenzhen and is served directly by the metro, which is usually the most predictable way in. Airport buses and licensed taxis also operate from the terminal, and cross-boundary coaches run to Hong Kong.

Common Scams to Avoid
Unlicensed drivers inside the arrivals hall at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport offer rides at inflated rates. Insist on using the official taxi queue outside or ride-hailing apps with clear fare estimates.
Some airport taxi drivers refuse to use the meter for trips into central Shenzhen, quoting a fixed price several times the normal fare. Insist on meter use or exit the vehicle and find another cab.
Private "limousine" touts near the exit doors claim to offer premium service but charge exorbitant rates for basic transport. These are not the official premium taxi service, so use clearly marked transport counters or pre-book through verified platforms.
